Property sales in Spain look set to get a boost from a bold move to attract investors via a string of local property exhibitions.
--- In an unusual move, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce has decided to go "on the road" with an ambitious plan to hold international Spanish property exhibitions to promote property in Spain.
Speaking to the press last week the president of La Camara, Jose Luis Romero-Salas, said that the chamber will hold exhibitions in Davao City, Bacolod and Baguio City as well as Metro Manila in the last two quarters of the year. He went on to comment, "We are going to to hold some of the biggest exhibitions ever and we are committed to bringing the best in Spain property to the region and its investors."
Paul Tomlin from Buy Abroad said "This is great news for the Spain property market and shows that the Spanish government is actively looking at other countries and continents to invest in Spain and its property market. This can only be good news for Spain and I expect developments such as Polaris World to benefit hugely from this approach as it is considered a very safe bet for investors with everything self contained on the development."
